Burford United is pleased to welcome Rev. Cathy Dilts as our new minister, as of January, 2017.
Cathy was ordained in 2005. Prior to being called to ministry she was a high school teacher and an active member in her local church. Cathy grew up in Burlington, graduated from the University of Waterloo, and received her M. Div. from Emmanuel College in Toronto.
Cathy, husband Dave, and their children Sarah and Chris lived in Richmond Hill until moving to Brantford 11 years ago. Since then the family has grown to include daughter-in-law Oksana and grandchildren Owen and Elise.
Ministry has taken Cathy to congregations in Toronto, Brantford and Waterdown. Now she is grateful to God and to the people of Burford United Church for the opportunity to serve the Burford community as we journey in faith and “walk in the light of God” together.
