OUR MINISTER - Rev. Cathy Dilts

Rev. Cathy Dilts was ordained in 2005. Cathy graduated from the University of Waterloo, and received her M. Div. from Emmanuel College in Toronto.

Ministry has taken Cathy to congregations in Toronto, Ajax, Brantford and Waterdown.

Now she is grateful to God and to the people of Burford United Church the opportunity to serve the Burford community as we journey in faith and “walk in the light of God” together.

Ruth Storey: Music Director/Accompanist

• Western University - B.A. , B.ED,
• Brock University - Primary/Junior Vocal Specialist

Ruth taught 34 years in the elementary school system with the majority of that time teaching music.

She is passionate about choral music and has been involved in community choirs.

Being a PK (Preachers Kid) she grew up in the United Church and loves the old hymns as well as contemporary christian music.

Ruth's philosophy is All God's Creatures Have a Place in the Choir and everyone is welcome to make a Joyful Noise to the Lord.

She has been music director at Burford United since 2010.

Diana Pritchard: Executive Secretary

Diana has spent much of her adult career as a writer for local newspapers and publications.

She has also spent 23 years as Burford United’s secretary.

Her side hustle is trying to convince turkey vultures to pose for photos.

“Make me a channel of your peace.”
