Meeting Jesus at The Table
A Lenten Journey
(based on the book by Cynthia Campbell, Christine Coy Fohr; WJK press).
The Gospels are full of stories of Jesus sharing meals with disciples, friends, even tax collectors and Pharisees. Whether multiplying bread to feed a whole crowd, relaxing with his inner circle, or telling curious elites stories about even greater banquets, Jesus imparts wisdom as he shares the wine and grants forgiveness as he distributes the fish. Together we will explore Jesus' wisdom pondering insights about our own lives, such as whom should we invite to Sunday dinner and who is left out and left behind in our culture today.
What does God's table look like and how might we begin to make a place at the Table for everyone?

CHOIR
Under the direction of our Music Director, Donnalyn Pepper, the Burford Church Choir is made up of folks who share a love of praising God in song.
No previous experience is necessary and everyone is welcome!
We sing from a variety of Christian music genres each week and twice a year prepare for a service of special music to highlight the Christmas or Easter seasons.
Practice is from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday nights at the church
